Perception element, which forms part of the Theory Test, consists of a series of video clips, and follows the multiple choice questions. |

will be shown 14 hazard situation clips as seen from the drivers view. You should respond by clicking the mouse as soon as a hazard develops The maximum score on 13 of the hazards is five points, but one of the clips will feature two hazards, scoring ten points. The pass mark is 44 out of 75 . |
| At the end of the theory test you will be given a score for each element. Both the theory test and hazard perception test must be passed at the same sitting. If you fail one of the elements you will have to take the whole test again. | |
